In response to the massive LNG import programme forecast and announced at the end of 1999, Graypen formed a focus group to specifically target this growth market and as the various receiving facilities have been developed and established at key locations around the UK, the LNG Team was trained and given a broad awareness of the demands of this sector of the industry. We now have a LNG Team which is committed to the LNG market and actively handling vessels at the Grain LNG terminal, as well as at the South Hook LNG and Dragon LNG terminals in Milford Haven. Services can be provided at Gasport (Teesside) and for Ship-To-Ship transfers at Scapa Flow, if required.

Since its inception in 2005, this dynamic team has built a strong and successful client-base, continually assisting terminals, charterers, vessel operators and cargo receivers with a comprehensive service providing up to date information and advice that is relevant to all concerned. Our LNG operations and the procedures we follow ensure that all current industry standards and regulations are met, along with a strict observation of safety and environmental demands in conjunction with the commercial requirements of our clients.

Graypen's unrivalled behavioural safety programme is another key building-block in our LNG services at UK terminals, where all vessels in our care are boarded by specifically trained/enabled staff ensuring up to date information is disseminated to all parties involved in each cargo movement.
